Golf is one of the most popular sports in the world and not surprisingly there are millions of websites dedicated to the sport. The amateur golfer suffers from there being an over-abundance of information.

When you go to a search engine they will often give you far more information than you can use.

For example just as a random search I have just gone to Google and typed in “buy new seven iron” without the quotation marks. The site has given me 18,600,000 results.

That is a real problem.I just have too much to consider, particularly as a quick look through the first page of websites suggests a lot of narrow websites rather then a the general overview retailer that i was hoping for

As another example I have tried “golf course in Arizona”.  This time I have got 3,400,000 results.

It seemed to me that I should be able to reduce the overload of Google information and find a solution for myself.

Months later it came to me.

The answer was a golf toolbar of my own.Toolbars are the rows of buttons above your browser window.

In the toolbar I put in my favorite golfing websites so that whenever I wanted golf information it was there at the top of my screen every time I was online. The result was I could visit my favorite course finder, retailer and news center as I wanted. It Made searching life easier.

I still use Google sometimes for golf searches but in general I know that the best websites are available right at the top of my screen everyday.

It seemed reasonable to allow general use of the toolbar. Its free for everybody to use.It is completely safe and downloads rapidly.

At the moment it has a top golf store, training aid site, news section and a weather forecast, games, utilities and a holiday or vacation organiser.

    The Golf toolbar.

I find it works a treat and think others can benefit to.  It is completely free though it’s only fair to point out that if you do buy anything through the retailer on there I do get a commission from them.

    Please enjoy the toolbar.

    The Golf Training toolbar.
