There are just so many skincare and beauty products available today how does any woman know which is the right product for her? My girlfriend always insists upon using Clarins products so I decided to find out why.

When I asked her why she chose Clarins over other, similar products her answer was simple. “They work” she said. So I asked if other products didn’t and she told me that, in her extensive experience they weren’t generally as good.

She went on to tell me how Clarins products are made primarily from plant extracts and essential oils and they don’t contain any animal products, unlike many others. Then she suggested that I might try a few of their men’s skincare range for myself - so I looked at the prices.

To be honest, the Clarins range of mens face care and shaving products are no more expensive than many other top brands but nearly £12 for 150ml of shaving gel doesn’t really compare well, on price, with the Tesco’s own brand shaving foam that I normally use. So I’ll have to wait until some generous soul buys me some nice mens Clarins products for Christmas - hint hint…
