February 2nd, 2009MotoringWe all realise the car industry is by far the worst affected. Although used cars are still widely being accepting, dealers are having trouble ridding of the new cars. The huge niche just blames it on the financial downfall and insists a saviour is the right approach and will rejuvenate a failing niche. But is this the truth or not? Or is there hidden information hidden behind the chassis.
Well something needs to be done about the failing market and I can tell you that it is not a bail out that will save it. Casting your mind over does it really cost thousands to manufacture a car. People have stated that cars are built in about 30 hours from start to end and cost around $3000 for each vehicle, which undoubtedly ends up selling for a profit of up to 90%.
Is this not the true reason as to why the industry is suffering, because they are overcharging? Ok do not see me in a negative light to design a new vehicle and promote the new vehicle must cost slightly more. When they want to create them in bulk they just get slapped and packed. The developers were trying to get too much profit by charging a fortune and this is why more expensive companies are finding it hard, like the Mercedes.
This is also why cheaper vehicles that do exactly the same tasks such as Scodas and Fords are still thriving in a below average niche. They offer great quality for an affordable rate and manufacturers are still making a profit. I have driven a Fiat that feels exactly like the higher branded cars.

January 31st, 2009MotoringWhen searching for the best deal on car insurance, you are typically faced with several companies willing to do business with you. The only way, then, to find the best deal is to compare these companies against each other. This may seem like a daunting task, as any yellow pages search will typically yield pages of competing companies, but the good news is that many insurance companies are offering car insurance comparisons on their websites. This allows you to see what each company offers merely by pulling up their site. However, if you want to be as thorough as possible, it may be a good idea to do the car insurance comparison yourself.
Car Insurance Websites
If you are going to go with the website comparison, you merely pull up the website of the company you are wanting to go with, and then you type in your information. The information the website seeks will typically be things such as your age, your gender, the make and model of your car, as well as other factors, such as how many drivers you want to insure and whether or not you’ve had tickets in the last five years. After you’re done filling out the designated information, the website will then compare their prices against their competitors. This is the fastest way to get a car insurance comparison. However, you have to take into consideration that the source of the comparison is the company whose website you’ve pulled up. After all, they’re generally not going to make themselves look more expensive than their competitors. It’s for this reason that most people who have the time would rather do the comparison shopping themselves.
Open The Phone Book
To do the car insurance comparison yourself, merely open the yellow pages and start calling each and every company you find. Give them all your information and write down what they offer you. You may have to call dozens of companies, or even more, but at the end of it all, you will have a comparative list that will let you know which company offers the best deal.
Finding the best deal on car insurance is a great way to save money. Everyone who drives needs car insurance, after all, but that doesn’t mean you have to pay a fortune for it. Just by doing a car insurance comparison, you could find yourself saving hundreds of dollars a year or even more. Online auto auctions

January 27th, 2009MotoringHaving a car accident is one of life’s least pleasant moments and your day is about to get worse. Now you need to call your insurance company and file a claim. Many people are apprehensive about filing car insurance claims because of all of the horror stories they have heard over the years, such as your premium rate will skyrocket if you ever have to file a claim or that the insurance company will do everything in their power not to pay.Never fear.If you have chosen a reputable company to do business with, they will do their best to make the car insurance claims process as quick and painless as possible.
Know What Your Policy Covers
The first step in submitting car insurance claims is to know what your policies cover. If you submit a claim for an item that is not covered by your policy, the claim will be rejected and you will have to pay those costs out of pocket. If you have any questions about the policy or what is covers, call your insurance agent and ask them to explain it to you.You should review your car insurance claims information periodically to keep your self up to date in case of an accident.
Exchange Information With The Other Driver
Another important step in filing car insurance claims is to exchange information with the other driver involved in the accident. Each party involved in the accident should get the full name, address, phone number, insurance company, and insurance company’s phone number of the other party.
Jotting down the license plate number of the other car may be a good idea as well. This will help you identify the other party to your insurance company when filing your claim. It will also help to obtain an accident report from the police to assist in the car insurance claims process.
Contact Your Car Insurance Company’s Claims Division
The last step in filing car insurance claims is to contact the insurance company you have a policy with directly and let them know that you’ve had an accident.Different companies have different procedures for filing claims, so you may have to review your policy or contact general information at the insurance company to find out what to do.
A claims adjuster will determine who was at fault and who should be held responsible for the cost of repairing the vehicles.Filing car insurance claims are no fun but they are better than the alternative of paying the total cost of repairs out of your own pocket. Police auto auction
