January 21st, 2009GeneralThe tremendous rise of the Nintendo Wii cannot be attributed to a single factor, nor can it be trivialized as merely a fad. As video gaming has grown over the past twenty years to become a true player in the entertainment industry its commercial presence has branched out. Unfortunately, the core demographic that has been raised on ever improving graphics, in depth story lines, and complex game play can only handle so many competing systems. This is where the Nintendo Wii comes into the picture.
The Wii’s small size, simplicity, and innovative motion-sensitive controls have all made it a rival to be reckoned with. Many sites now offer you the Chance to get a free wii. Young children, women and older gamers, who have all been left relatively untapped by the video game industry, have discovered the excitement of video games behind their Wii controllers.
The idea of being part of the game, as opposed to sitting and controlling someone else, makes Nintendo Wii a revolutionary gaming system. Jumping into the action and taking a swing at a tennis ball or your opponents virtual face is satisfying and easy enough to understand and perform that retirement homes have been known to institute Wii playing as a suitable form of exercise for their inhabitants.
Family fun and time spent together is also a strong point for the Wii. With games that have appeal across spectrum of age and gender, the Wii has done more to bring people together than any gaming system. Family and friends can now gather around the Wii and enjoy competition and camaraderie that speaks of simpler times.
Wii’s Virtual Console is another major selling point that allows players to download classic games and experience other unique content with the aid of an Internet connection. Nintendo has been able to improve on proven franchises like MarioKart and MarioParty while introducing non-traditional gaming experiences like Wii Fit which allows users to exercise and monitor their health with the help of a balance board.
As the Wii continues to make inroads into new markets it will be interesting to see where its rise will lead and how its success will affect the gaming industry as a whole.

The simple answer is No. There are still hundreds of thousands of accidents on the road that are caused by use of mobile telephones.People even when they are using a handsfree kit or bluetooth set are still trying to type in phone numbers. It does not matter what you are trying to type in, whether its a friends phone or an 0800 number the handset should not be used to distract your attention.
So be safe otherwise you could end up being sorry.
