I just came across this really cool daybed design over at cribcandy. They suggest that the design might find application in airport lounges which I think is a great idea.

A daybed is typically a cross between a sofa, bed and chaise longue. They need to be comfortable to sit on as well as curl up for a siesta. This outstanding comtemporary design looks like it meets all requirements, but I’d like to give it a test snooze.

Airport lounges provide a relaxing environment for travellers who are about to embark on their flights. Generally, passengers can spend up to about 3 hours in an airport lounge, taking advantage of the complimentary refreshments, free magazines, newspapers and internet access. The addition of a few daybeds would further enhance the facilities, enabling travellers to catch 40 winks before flying.

Sounds like a cool idea to me and this outstanding daybed design looks ideal for the job.
